CAMP OVERVIEW
Waldorf-Inspired Elementary Summer Camp
A Season of Wonder, Creativity, and Connection
This summer, children are invited to embark on a journey of creativity, exploration, and hands-on discovery at our Waldorf-Inspired Elementary Summer Camp.
Rooted in rhythm, imagination, and connection to nature, each camp week offers a unique thematic experience where children engage in storytelling, movement, art, and deep sensory learning. Whether crafting their own stuffed animals, mapping out treasure hunts, weaving with natural materials, or creating vibrant plant-based dyes, campers will cultivate skills, friendships, and a lifelong love of learning.
Through this rhythmic and immersive experience, children will leave camp with not just beautiful handmade creations, but a deeper connection to nature, imagination, and their own creative spirit.
CAMP THEMES
-
Embark on a thrilling adventure of creativity, mystery, and discovery at Treasure Hunters Camp! Campers will design their own treasure hunts, craft unique treasures, and create 3D and collage-style maps. They’ll master the art of navigation, storytelling, and mapmaking—compass in hand—just like true explorers!
-
Gather twigs, leaves, and flowers as we weave nature into art! In this hands-on camp, children will explore the art of weaving using natural materials and practice fort tying techniques to build sturdy shelters and imaginative hideouts. They’ll build a handmade loom, experiment with textures and colors, and craft beautiful woven artwork. This camp is perfect for kids who love to work with their hands, explore the outdoors, and turn nature into art and adventure!
-
Campers will bring music to life through rhythm, melody, and movement! They’ll explore instruments and songs from around the world, learning to play together in harmony. Through hands-on play, dance, and song, children will experience the joy of making music. At the end of the week, they’ll showcase their newfound skills in a joyful mini-concert!
-
Embark on an epic adventure into the world of miniature ecosystems! Campers will get their hands dirty building their own living terrariums—layering soil, moss, and tiny plants to create a wild habitat. Along the way, they’ll uncover the secrets of nature, develop awesome skills, and take home a thriving mini-world they designed themselves. By the end of the week, they’ll have an epic, terrarium—a tiny jungle they built from the ground up!
-
Step into a world of imagination as campers become authors and illustrators of their own storybooks! Through reading, drawing, nature journaling, and storytelling, they’ll discover the magic of narrative structure while exploring emotions, problem-solving, and creativity. By the end of the week, each child will have a fully illustrated, one-of-a-kind storybook to share and take home!
-
Stitch by stitch, campers will bring their own stuffed animals to life! Throughout the week, they’ll design, cut, and sew their own plush companions, learning about fabrics, stitching techniques, and the joy of self-expression. By the end of camp, each child will have a handmade plushie to cherish for years to come.
-
Step into a week of wonder, color, and connection with nature at Bloom & Dye Summer Camp! Campers will harvest plants to create natural dyes and paints, transforming scarves and bandanas into vibrant works of art with the help of local artisan dyers. Along the way, they’ll explore the magic of dye plants, deepening their bond with the land and the changing seasons.
