After School Elementary

In our afterschool program, children have the chance to unwind and reconnect with the natural world through joyful outdoor adventures and soothing musical moments. Starting at Sisters Elementary School, we journey along a winding path through the pines and downtown, making our way to Soul Blossom. This gentle 1.9-mile walk awakens the senses, inviting us to tune in to the sounds of birdsong, the whisper of the wind, and the world around us. With every step, our caring staff guides your child through serene moments where they can breathe in fresh air, observe the beauty of changing seasons, and feel the earth beneath their feet. Along the way, music adds a magical touch—songs, rhythms, and playful tunes echo the natural world, creating shared moments of joy. It’s a beautiful blend of movement, creativity, and calm, allowing kids to wind down from the day and connect more deeply with themselves and the world around them.

In partnership with Seed to Table, we’re excited to offer 4 seasonal field trips that bring the wonders of farming to life! These hands-on experiences invite your child to explore the heart of organic farming, where they’ll get to see how food grows, from seed to harvest. They’ll feel connected to the earth as they dig, plant, and watch nature’s cycle unfold. And the best part? They can bring what they’ve learned back to our garden, where we nurture growing minds and plants in our 860-square-foot greenhouse and 6 outdoor raised-bed gardens. It’s all about cultivating curiosity and care, together.

At Soul Blossom, we gently guide your children through daily, weekly, and seasonal rhythms that bring music and art to life. Through free play, form drawing, watercolor painting, clay and wax modeling, handwork, and activities that nurture balance and grace, your child will explore creative concepts in a warm, supportive environment. Every day is a new opportunity to express, discover, and connect, as we celebrate the beauty of the artistic journey together.
